Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry Level Communications Assistant in Detroit. The Communications Assistant will support the marketing and communications team in executing various projects and initiatives to enhance brand awareness and engage our target audience.


Pay range: $21.50 - $30.50 hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies to promote The One Agency's brand and services.
  • Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, presentations, and digital content.
  • Assist with content creation for various communication channels, including social media, email newsletters, blog posts, and press releases.
  • Monitor social media channels and engage with followers to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating marketing events and activities, including trade shows, seminars, and community outreach programs.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market insights to inform communication strategies and tactics.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining databases, organizing files, and managing calendars.

Job requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
